Oppositions Due: December 23, 2019
On December 16, 2019, the Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau of the FCC released a public notice seeking comment on a petition filed by Sorenson Communications, LLC (Sorenson). Sorenson requests that the FCC suspend the April 29, 2020 compliance date of its rule requiring video relay service (VRS) providers to ensure that their VRS access technologies (that is, end user equipment and apps used for VRS) and video communication service platforms are interoperable with the Video Access Technology Reference Platform (VATRP) in accordance with the Interoperability Profile for Relay User Equipment (RUE Profile).
Interested parties may file oppositions by accessing the Electronic Comment Filing System at https://www.fcc.gov/ecfs/filings. All filings must reference CG Docket Nos. 10-51 and 03-123.
